Aw man I love My Neighbour Totoro so much. The music, the animation, the story; so wonderful. I might love it even more than Princess Mononoke and that's saying something. I'm intrigued by the books we share as well, there can't be that many people who are studio ghibli fans and are also interested in classical literature.

Miyazaki is a genius. I have to say Spirited Away is my favourite, if not my favourite film of all time. You can't beat Totoro for cuteness.

I have to tell you that your profile image absolutely made my day! Totoro is the movie that prevented me from giving up on anime altogether in a fit of dudgeon-flavored misanthropy, and I adore it to this day.
