Tietoja minusta All my school photos' were shockers! I was the kid who always looked like a ghost. Something’s just don't change. The only difference now is I now have freckles on my pale skin, and my dark hair has silver in it, more in the front than anywhere else; I call it 'my skunk streak' - unless I've managed to put a rinse in, that is. I'm becoming shorter and wider the older I become, but am grateful to get older at all.
I am blessed with the long love of one man (what he see's in me only he and God know!) and one daughter, and seeing as she was the only girl child born in the hospital that week, I was there at the time (remarkable no?) and she was definitely a girl-child at birth, so, she must be ours - again, God only knows why we were blessed with her (ok - no comments required as to just 'how' we got her, we got that one...) as she is a beautiful child and we love her dearly.
Many wonderful friends and pets have passed through our lives. On the pet front, at the moment we have the company of one Canary (Jimbo by name, after a very young and garrulous nephew of Bri's). Woosha (Feline Majestique)
was named after the Coach of our local AFL team - his nickname was the smiling assassin; our Woosh is just that! His sister Honey Blondie Goldfish
joined us not two weeks after we were gifted with Woosha, and she is the opposite to him in both temperament and size; he is huge and fluffy, she is tiny, tiny and short-coated. Scruffy-Cat
joined us months later, (Bri rescued her from some children in the next neighbourhood, she had been wrapped up in a t-shirt and the rug-rats were playing basketball with her. She was no more than 6 - 10 weeks old). Didn't think she'd survive the night, but she did and has been telling us about it and every other little thing ever since, seriously, you can't sneeze loudly in her presence because you will be told off if you do - even if your a couple of rooms away! Unfortunately, she is now terrified of children, even if they are just laughing and walking down the street or playing in the next door neighbours. Her piece of music is 'Love, Love Me'! Sweetie-Pie Headbutt
joined us two winters ago, walking rib-cage he was. We tried to find his family - we went everywhere and advertised extensively, as he was/is the most lovable, sucky-up cat you're ever likely to be in the company of. I'm sure, somewhere out there is a child mourning the loss of their very lovable cat. Then there are the goldfish (Nameless, and Goldy - when it comes to fish, I just don't have a sense for them at all) and finally, three ducks, Gertrude, Chocolate and Yak-Yak.
Tietoja kirjastostani My library is made up of all the books I wish to own, the ones I'm gifted with, and the one's I love most. Unfortunately, I still don't own them all, life is too short and money shorter still. However, it is a pleasure to find more and more authors each day who’s books become 'must haves' in my pitifully small library. So the challenge continues to grow... however, Tim's White Dwarf Bookshop is certainly helping me with upsizing my library!

I did go go and look at flickr, and they are allso cute!
I have the same issues with catching them at a good time, especially Rosie who is one, and still moves like she has a rocket up her bum most of the time.
My dog Duncan thinks Rosie is his cat. I got her from the shelter when she was 8 wks old. She popped out of the box, and he went over and started to lick her.. and it was love !
She loves him back just as much, and she cuddles up with him often. just not for long she is always in a hurry to get to the next place...
I will keep looking for new pics at Flickr!
take care

What beautiful furkids you havem, and how nicely you have introduced them and displayed their photos. They are all clearly lucky to be home with you. A basketball!!!! Thank goodness you came to the rescue.
I was happy to assist, It took me a while to sort it out too, until someone mentioned html.
Take care,

If you resize it to a manageable size LT takes care of the rest... and under the pic you will find the html or the url.. depending on what you need.

Adding pictures to your profile is pretty easy. I use flickr or photobucket to
store my images. If you click on one of the pictures, it will take you there.
One uploaded to flickr if you click on the photo.. it lists along the top options to edit, send to group or put in a setor all sizes . If you choose to edit you can do many of the same things you would do with any photo editor, like crop, rotate or clear red eye etc.
flickr is free up to 200 photos.
choose all sizes. I usually use thumbnail.. click on that. Look below the picture and there you will see some html. copy it, and place it in your profile where you want the picture to appear. I place mine under where I have typed what I want to about my library.
Is that clear, or have I complicated it?
Feel free to ask again~ if youhave any questions, and when you get your pics up let me know so I can come and look!
take care

This one is easy and not time consuming. On the Author page there is a list of users who have already made them a favourite. Underneath is a small link add to favourites. Voila.
The same can be done for bookshops/libraries from the LT local tab. If they aren't there you will have to add them yourself. Yet another LT timesink.
I fully appreciate the difficulties of maintainng an online presence. Meatspace should always come first, even if sometimes it feels like one has more in common with online avatars then the real people we converse with!

We share quite a few books, considering the library sizes. You've not rated Curse of the Mistwraith, does this mean you've not read it yet? If so I'd heartily reccomened it. I've just finished it, and was very impressed.
Is your user name from Donaldson's OneTree?
