Tietoja minusta I'm 26 and I'll read anything. I'm working on that.

Tietoja kirjastostani These are just the books I've read since late June 2007. I wanted a separate place to keep track of that sort of thing. My full library (along with my husband's) is located under the name sunnyleaandnoah.

Hello there!

It had struck me as odd that there were several positive reviews of 'Fallen Leaves' on the site, considering I hated it so much; I knew it wasn't just a personal antipathy because I originally read it for the book group I'm a member of, and nobody liked it there either. But it's still nice to know I'm not the only one here who didn't like it. (Most of the books in my library I don't like are for book group, actually; maybe I should leave it!)

I suspect it's part of a trend we've just started getting in the UK of what's been called 'misery lit'; hundreds of books coming out by ordinary people telling terrible things about their abusive childhoods. They generally do not make for pleasant reading.

I see you're a librarian from your other account (where we share several more books); do you specialise in children's books?
I hope you have fun with it! I find that I read a lot more fiction than non-fiction too, probably because the fiction just seems to go by so much quicker.... I need a bit of incentive to finish the NF books that I've already started!
Hi there! I don't know if someone has let you know already, but several things on your make-LT-better list are available. If you click the link that says "edit" next to display styles A-E, you can change which fields show and choose to show up to 100 books per page. I sort by entry date all the time. Dewey is also one of the available fields (and LoC call number). Enjoy!
