Just letting you know for the spreadsheet, Brandon Sanderson's books Mistborn:the Final Empire and Well of Ascension are both books in the Mistborn Trilogy. Excellent books by the way if you haven't gotten to them yet. The last one is out in October.

I asked because the book is one of my all-time favorites - but it does require focused reading.

I expected to uncover another such favorite in the last days but just finished A Thousand Splendid Suns and must admit, as much as I loved The Kite Runner, I didn’t enjoy Splendid Suns much. A lot of L-Ters disagree with me, of course. Not sure if you read these and what you thought?

Glad to see that your experience with live classical music was enjoyable. If you get the chance, go experience a chamber music quartet someday. It's usually four stringed instruments or a combination of string and woodwind and sometimes a piano thrown into the mix. My first was Yo-Yo Ma about twelve years ago.

I don't believe it's a problem for you, but a large amount of the works of the 17th and 18th century were written as pieces of worship for the Christian mass. Some of the most beautiful and amazing works were written and performed as full masses. I find the vocal works incredible and relaxing. If you don't mind I'll go through my collection in the next week and list recommendations?

I was searching for conversations on Robb White's The Lion Paw, and you came up. I love it too - ever since our fourth grade teacher read it aloud to us in a north Florida classroom. Nobody I mention it to now has ever heard of it either, so sometimes I go to amazon and read all the fans' memories there.

I saw you just finished March, and I did just finish it also. When I went to your profile I was amazed to find that you might be me. I just moved to Minnesota last year, lived everywhere from Colorado to South Carolina. Read, cross-stitch. No dogs anymore, my friend took my Pom in the last move and my cousin took the Border Collie. The naughty books are in the night-stand,(along with hidden chocolate) and I am 40+. Not really married, just finishing up a divorce with #3.
Anyway, I belong to a smaller group you might be interested in, looking at your books. Book Fiend - for people so addicted they spend the bill money on books. About 15 of us.
Incidentally, I live in Bemidji now.
