Thanks for your nice note. I'll have to check out your other library as well. The knitting Barbara Walker is the same woman who writes about feminism. It seems that she figured out everything she wanted to know about knitting, and then moved on to other writing. There is a brief portrait of her in Knitting in AQmerica by Melanie Falick, on pages 56 and 57.

Thank you - it is a great compliment for you to find my library interesting. I actually have two libraries (the other is juglice). This is my library of books I've read but don't actually own, jublice is a very incomplete list of the books that I own. The differences are interesting: the top tags for books that I own so far is "pictorial works", which I suppose is appropriate.

I am also a librarian (retired) and a knitter. Seeing your favorites reminds me, I should be able to use Librarything to figure out whether the Barbara Walker who writes about knitting is the same one who writes about feminism. To judge by your random books, we have a lots of books in common.
