We have in common a little over 10% of the books in our respective libraries. I just looked through the shared volumes. A lot of history and Library of America. The Page Smith series, Allan Nevins and Will Durant are some of the most prominent history writers. BrainFlakes is a friend of mine through the Library of America connection. I love their books so much I get one every 30 days. The problem is that I can't read one every 30 days. At least I know I won't run out of good books to read. I scanned your author cloud. I see you enjoy Michael Grant, I have a number of his. One of my favorite authors for Ancient Greece is M. I. Finley, I noticed we share one of his books. I just wrote a review on Albert Speer: His Battle with Truth, another book we share. It is a very interesting book that gives some insight into one of the big riddles of history, how does a civilized country revert to barbarism seemingly overnight. I would like to invite you to peruse my library and drop me a line. I really enjoy the ability to communicate with someone about good books.

Funny you should mention Isaac Singer: Of all the LOA volumes, I enjoyed his three the best.
