Tietoja minusta I'm a graduate student in a molecular biology program, so in my free time I like to read fiction. Some of my favorites are Victorian and Russian novels as well as the current crop of literary fiction.

Tietoja kirjastostani I don't own all the books in my library. Instead, I've been trying to keep track of everything I've read. I started noting when I would complete a book in mid-2003, so those dates are there. For books that I read earlier, I estimated the time when I finished that book and added the date as 12/31/year.

I rate all the books that I've read, and since I usually like them, most have four stars.

Rating system -

5 stars - one of my favorites
4.5 stars - really enjoyed this book
4 stars - I liked this book, glad I read it
3.5 stars - this was a good book, but just had some reservations and couldn't completely like it
3 stars - was somewhat disappointed with this book, but not bad
2.5 stars - on average, more bad than good
2 stars - had big problems with this book - bad prose, very boring etc.
less than 2 stars - not that many with this rating, but am probably mad at the author
