Tietoja minusta Greetings all...
My name is Ruthanne. I am 68 y.o., a retired nurse, and a voracious reader...and have been all my life. I was born and raised in and around Boston but am now living in Texas.
My Kindle only arrived an hour ago and is presently being charged...I nearly tackled and hugged the UPS driver when he pulled up to the house...but restrained myself in time.
I read from all categories...have just finished THE TERROR, a fictional account of the Sir John Franklin expedition to find the Northwest Passage. Am currently reading QUINCUNX (700-plus pages) by Charles Palliser. I'm afraid it may take a back seat to my Kindle until he/she and I get acquainted. No name for my Kindle yet...we hardly know each other!
I have eight books lined up to download...beginning with A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS and also some by the late Wm. F. Buckley.
I discovered this site quite by accident today and am very excited about it and anxious to explore and meet fellow bibliophiles and find out what everyone is reading!
