Tietoja minusta A love of books took hold of my heart at an early age. My parents taught me to read as soon as they could, both being quite intelligent and rather passionate about the subject. Ever since I have desired little more than to get my hands on the next book or four.

Moving on to modern times. I'm 22 and working two jobs to fund my obsession: one in a cubicle farm doing data entry and the other in a fairly wild hippie store. The latter mostly allows me time to read and watch the people walking by without coming in while the former actually requires me to work all day.

Describing me as a liberal/hippie/activist type, an incurable nerd, and a raving madwoman who is consistently drawn to all things outlandish (or covered in chocolate, at least) wouldn’t be terribly far off the mark. I tend to read fantasy and science fiction, though I'm often drawn to philosophy, mythology, history, poetry, and anthropological writings. My indulgence in comic books and manga is due in part to my feeling that we ought to give our minds the occasional rest and also because I have a penchant for succumbing to the enjoyment of frivolous things.

That being said, bring on the wine and hors o'dourves! m(_ _)m

Tietoja kirjastostani Almost all of my books are on honest-to-goodness shelves and need lay about my apartment no longer, though I am back to double-stacking them. I've cataloged essentially everything at this point but I have not included books I used to own or have merely read; I wish this to reflect only my current collection.
