The author brings a Jungian perspective to this important study of the problem of evil in psychology and religion. He traces the mythological, Old Testament, and New Testament explanations of evil in the light of the modern-day contributions of Analytical Psychology and provides a concrete exploration of the Jungian concept of the "shadow" in his analysis of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
I used this as a text book for my class entitled a woman's transformational journey. My student's and I both loved it.
