Un livre construit peut-être de manière un peu complexe, mais cet effet "haché" sert au propos, et, finalement (et étrangement) rend bien le côté introspectif de la narration. Une belle découverte.

I like this kind of story, that tells about how things were and how they became. The book doesn't try to draw any epic conclusions it's simply a story about a period of time in someone's life and how it effected them and those around them. This is how life is, we don't always get profound answers.… (lisätietoja)

Nice story, nice writing. I loved reading about rural small-town India.

Beautiful! Three stories going on and all are interconnected. This takes place in a seaside town on the Bay of Bengal. Three matrons, a young man and a young woman are all looking for something they won't find. This will confirm your disappointment in humans, but confirm your conviction that this author has a voice that needs to be heard.
