Sara Rider

DNF only 8% in, not because it's terrible, but because the prose is... Simple? I expect more if this is not an author's first book. The plot so far is utterly predictable, the characters are okay but also predictable, and while I appreciate that this is free, my time isn't.

Sara Rider and The Perfect Play series are fast becoming some of my favorite reads. When I read the first book at this series I was intrigued by Jaime Chen and I was really glad to see that the next book in the series was to be about her. It did not disappoint.

I have read and enjoyed all of Sara Rider's books and while this was not my favorite by her I still quite enjoyed it. I like how past characters are present in her books without taking over the story. Her writing style is one I like but it's her characters that really shine for me.

For the Win by Sara Rider was a thoroughly enjoyable read for me. The story line was both intriguing and timely. I greatly enjoyed these characters and the voice with which the author told the story. I look forward to reading more from Sara Rider.
