The photos are all taken from a low perspective, making buildings and monuments look, well, monumental, large, overbearing. Even in the few photos taken in the countryside, you don't get the emotional respons, as you do when seeing Scotland in person, that there is a lonliness and deserted feeling to the landscape. So while the pictures are gorgeous, they don't say "Scotland" to me.
